Hi!

I'm Meaghan, a nature play leader and mom of two curious and adventurous kiddos. I have always had a love of nature and interest in exploring and learning about the outdoors. I also love to play and recognize play as an amazing tool for kids to make discoveries, develop their creativity, and become life-long learners by following their interests. Little Sprout Explorers classes are a way for me to combine my love of nature and training in play and child development and to share these passions with families in my community. 

My classes feature Tinkergarten curriculum and my approach to play appreciates each child's own natural curiosity and need to explore and learn about the world in their own way. I have loved seeing my two children make discoveries, build creations and have their own nature adventures outdoors, much like I did as a child. I'm excited to invite families to come play together outside, connect with one another, explore nature, and create wonderful childhood and family memories in our outdoor classroom. 

I have been leading play-based nature classes with Tinkergarten since 2019 and enjoyed attending classes with my twins for 2 years before becoming a leader. I have a MS in Child and Family Development and have been working with children and families in a variety of setting for nearly 20 years. I consider myself a life-longer learner and love gaining new knowledge and experiences from the oldest and youngest of "teachers". I'm looking forward to playing and learning alongside your family and joining your adventures in childhood.
